With our online platform, a highly knowledgeable and passionate tutor with a track record of getting results, is ready to help you as long as you have access to a stable internet connection.

  • We care about our tutors. We provide ongoing mentoring and professional development to ensure they can tutor at their best. Put it simply, we support our tutors so they can support you.

  • All our tutors are either qualified Mathematics teachers or currently completing teaching degrees, with strong subject expertise and an unrivalled passion for helping HSC students. They bring a deep understanding of the HSC syllabus and modern teaching strategies to deliver high-quality support.

  • We run our sessions online in the comfort of your room. All our resources are written in-house and are delivered to your home in preparation for our weekly sessions.

  • While other tutoring services offer many subjects and other levels of Mathematics, we specialise in the Mathematics Advanced and Extension 1 course. We know these courses inside-out and we are confident in our ability to guide students to achieve a Band 6 in the HSC.

Hi everyone!

I’m Lorus, the founder of Numerical Education and I’m a qualifed high school Mathematics teacher for over 10 years. My teaching style focuses on training students to think like mathematicians by understanding the concepts rather than rote learning.

My notable teaching achievements include:

  • 2017 - Every student in my class achieved an E4 (Band 6) in Mathematics Extension 1.

  • 2019 - A student achieved a state rank for Mathematics Standard 1.

  • 2021 - A student achieved a mark of 99 in Mathematics Extension 1 and 98 in Mathematics Extension 2.

I am confident that I can guide and support your child to ensure they achieve their best in the HSC.
